Before and After School Sessions

ProjectMe sessions work in a flexible manner which address the needs of the children attending the sessions to ensure the programme is tailored towards them. This involves a group planning session during the first session to uncover the areas children are keen to explore. ProjectMe also encourages parents and schools to get involved in planning through providing information about their child at home and school so the session leader is able to adapt the course of sessions to address the areas that come up from children, parents and schools.

Each programme runs for a term and each session builds on the previous ones. These sessions are planned to incorporate a variety of games, activities, scenario-based discussions and as well as learning how to implement a range of strategies and tools within their everyday lives.

Before School

ProjectMe: Wake up & Win

These sessions focus on building a positive morning routine to set children up for a successful day. All sessions begin with an activity to focus on the present moment which is followed by a series of activities, games, exercises and discussion. These sessions help the children to feel more alert and prepared for their day at school and encourages them to embrace the day ahead.

After School

ProjectMe: Feel Good Club

These sessions are designed to address the children’s needs and areas of interest. The first session of the term focuses on topics the children want to explore and then the programme is tailored to suit the group being worked with. These sessions involve a range of games, activities, exercises including cooking, drama, physical activity and crafts which are used to explore concepts such as confidence, resilience, friendships and emotions.
