In School Sessions

At ProjectMe we are keen to work with schools to provide support that is tailored to suit the needs of the children and young people. We work closely with schools to discuss and develop programmes to support the students at each school and communicate regularly with teachers to discuss progress and future goals.

Project Confidence

These sessions coach children and young  in adopting strategies to help them develop their confidence. Across the course, we delve into what confidence is, how it can help us and how we can build and nurture our own confidence. They will gain a wealth of experience in how to manage different situations and will come away armed with the tools they need to feel more confident.

Project Resilience

In our Project Resilience programme, we support children and young people in developing their ‘bounce back ability’. We explore what resilience is, why it is useful and how we can develop it. We encourage children and young people to consider their current levels of resilience in different areas of their lives and where they could benefit from improving their resilience. This programme aims to provide lifelong learning, skills and strategies they can adopt whenever they are needed.

Project Anxiety

This programme focuses on understanding anxiety, why we might feel it and how we can combat any negativity we might feel from it. It encourages children and young people to embrace these feelings, understand there is nothing wrong with feeling worried and realise that everyone will have similar feelings at certain points in their lives. We want children and young peop to feel empowered in situations in which anxious feelings begin to surface and we want them to have a range of tools ready to be able to cope with these circumstances.

Project Emotions

Dealing with emotions can be challenging but the ability to do so successfully can support us to become more confident, happier and can enhance our ability to form positive relationships. In these sessions, we pick out and explore emotions that children and young people may experience regularly in their lives. We look at putting these emotions into contexts and discover ways in which dealing with the emotions in different ways can lead to successful outcomes.

Project Anger

Anger is often viewed in a negative light and people are regularly taught that they shouldn’t feel angry. In Project Anger classes, we work with children and young people to understand feelings of anger and recognise situations that ignite these feelings. We explore why this is the case and look at tools and strategies to help them respond positively to these feelings. Children and young people have the chance to work with others and see similarities and differences between their behaviours and the behaviours of others. We promote the idea that everyone is unique and we can learn from and support others to be the best versions of ourselves.

Project Gratitude

Demonstrating gratitude can help children (and adults) approach life with a more positive attitude. Research has also shown that it promotes greater happiness, improves health, supports us in dealing with adversity and develops our relationships. In these sessions, we explore these benefits, look at the gratitude the children and young people already display and share a range of practices they can easily adopt into their daily routines.
